Getting There & Parking

Arrive stress-free at the Niederwald

Planning your arrival is the first step for a relaxed visit.Most visitors either start in the town or use the parking facilities near the monument.

  • By car: Use the main parking area near the monument. Coordinates: 49.982363, 7.901143
  • By cable car: A highlight is the ride above the vineyards. The valley station is located at Oberstraße 37.
  • By train: From Rüdesheim (Rhine) station, the cable car is about a 10-minute walk through the historic old town.
