Parking at the Niederwald Monument – Info & Tips

If you’re visiting the Niederwalddenkmal by car, you’ll find several parking options nearby.

The most convenient option is the parking area directly at the Niederwald. Alternatively, many visitors choose to park in Rüdesheim am Rhein and take the cable car up to the monument. Here you’ll find all the essential information to plan your arrival stress-free.

Parking P1 at the Niederwald (closest to the monument)

• Price: around €5 per day
• Separate areas for buses and motorhomes available

 

Parking P1 is the best option for a quick and easy visit. You park above Rüdesheim in a forested area and can reach the monument within a few minutes on foot via a well-maintained path. This makes it especially convenient if you have limited time or prefer a short walk.
